Chirag is the CEO of Ashika Capital Ltd, part of the Ashika Group, a diversified financial services group in India, where he leads the firm’s efforts to help people, companies and institutions raise capital and grow and manage their wealth and assets.
Chirag is an active investor as well as leads a long-only public markets fund - Ashika India Alpha Fund (a Category III AIF) focused on investing in the mid-cap and small-cap stocks in the Indian stock market. He also created Future Bets, a thought-leadership property that brings world-class experts, such as Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Lalitesh Katragadda, and Pardis Sabeti, to share their perspectives about disruptions shaping the future of India through talks, performance art simulations, rich media, and more. He is now setting up the BIV-Ashika India Alternative Protein Fund with the focus on supporting startups involved in developing plant-based, fermentation-derived, and cultivated protein-based solutions.
